Can the AI run on existing CCTV cameras?
Yes, in 95% of cases. Praxate, our AI workforce intelligence product, runs on existing IP cameras via RTSP. We connect to your DVR/NVR or directly to cameras over the network — no new hardware required for most deployments.
Is the video processed on-prem or in the cloud?
On-prem by default. A small appliance lives on your network and processes video locally. Only structured events (alerts, attendance, headcount) sync to dashboards. Video never leaves your premises unless you explicitly choose cloud.
Can you integrate with our existing access control or VMS?
Yes. We've integrated with Honeywell, Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Matrix, eSSL, ZKTeco and similar Indian-market systems. Custom integrations are scoped in upfront.
Is face-based attendance legal in India?
Yes, with employee notification and documented consent — which we have built-in workflows for. For sites already running CCTV, this is generally a smaller compliance lift than biometric fingerprint systems.
What's the budget for a typical deployment?
Praxate (off-the-shelf) is per-camera per-month with a one-time appliance cost — typically much less than a custom build. Custom security platforms range ₹8L–₹40L depending on modules and integrations.
